Grey Card Theatres for 'The Smallest Cinema' in Saltburn

'The Smallest Cinema' is a group show curated by Mia Jankowicz, in which I am showing two small paper models- Grey Card Theatres One and Two. They show two slightly different scenes of a landscape with palm trees and a sailing ship in the distance. They are part of a major project that engages with 17th, 18th and 19th Century travel narratives, and the images produced by travelling artists such as William Hodges and Thomas Baines.
